MEET RACHEL

Rachel loves Yoga, Pilates, Cycling sewing, reading, writing, cooking, baking, gardening, travelling, live music, games and also speaks other languages . Rachels ethos is ‘A mind open to learning is a heart open to growth’

MEET MELANIE

With 4 years in the industry and certificates in Individual Support and Aged Care, Mel enjoys music, crafts, hiking, snorkelling, swimming, motorbike riding, and camping. She finds joy in seeing others thrive with support, believing in the ethos: ‘Surround yourself with people that make you smile.’

MEET CORY

With 6 years of experience and a certification in Individual Support, Cory enjoys gardening, audio technology, and art. His favourite part of the job is the changing landscape. He wonders why you can prune a plant but not plant a prune.

MEET MELISSA

Mel has a wellness and nursing background with an Individual Support certificate. She enjoys outdoor activities with clients and loves walking Shelter Dogs on the beach. In her free time, she can be found walking, fishing, or watching her favourite footy team, Carlton, while enjoying Pad Thai and Pepsi Max.

MEET JAYDEN

Jayden, one of our youngest crew, is completing his Cert III in Individual Support. He enjoys sports, gaming, and the variety of his daily work. You'll often find him savoring Chicken Parmi while watching Harry Potter or singing along. His favorite quote is, "Don’t waste your time chasing butterflies; mend your garden, and the butterflies will come."

MEET DAN

Dan loves music and travel. He has supported our participants for over 2 years, jamming in our Tuesday Music Group, hiking and golfing. He enjoys the daily evolving changes of being a support worker. His favourite quote: “Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around, you could miss it.” – Ferris Bueller

MEET GLEN

Glen brings four years of experience, working with participants to help them live their best lives. With a Cert III in Individual Support, he's passionate about making a difference. He believes happiness is essential in support, encouraging exercise as a fun way to connect with participants while focusing on their unique needs.

MEET MARILYN

Marilyn, who completed her Certificate III in Individual Support, has 2 years of experience. She enjoys building trust with participants to help them improve their lives. When not working, she paddle boards, camps, travels, hikes, cooks, does yoga, and spends quality time with her dogs and family.

MEET ROCHELLE

Rochelle has been a dedicated support worker for 5 years. Outside of work, she entertains the community with her Shimmy Shimmy dance mob, which raises awareness about domestic violence and encourages people to leave unsafe relationships before they escalate. What she loves most about her job is being active in the wonderful community and enjoying the beautiful environment.

MEET ANN MAREE

Rochell has 4 years of experience and a certificate in Individual Support. She helps empower people's independence and enjoys farm life. She's pursuing a Black Belt in Karate and is interested in Drama and K-Pop music.

MEET NIKKI

Nikki has been with us for 15 years, making people laugh and helping their independence grow. She enjoys snowboarding, traveling, hiking, listening to music, playing guitar, painting, and singing.

Nikki loves a good Choccy and cup of Coffee.

MEET LIZ

Liz loves life! She's fit, active, enjoys golf, hiking, gym, biking, music, and time with family, friends, and her dog. Her favourite job part is getting people involved in the community. She also loves karaoke and gardening.

MEET LOUISE

Louise is from Quebec, Canada, but has lived in Australia for 47 years and is proud of it. She enjoys staying active through swimming, yoga, walking, the beach, and learning languages. Louise has worked at Mossman Support Services for 23 years and loves her job.

 

MEET SUMMER

Summer has completed her Certificate III in Individual Support. She loves the outdoors, including camping, the beach, walking, foraging in the forest, art, music, gardening, and yoga. Summer values kindness and believes it is essential for everyone.
