ITS OH SO FUN SEWING IN 2023
Often we sew alone in frustration for the purpose of mending or repairing. Sometimes we have the opportunity to sew for Joy and create a beautiful piece of art. Sewing can be both joyous, tedious and incredibly challenging but it is oh so rewarding. What better way celebrate your creations and endure your frustrations with friends and fellow enthusiasts.
Open to all members of the community, this warm and welcoming sewing space runs on Wednesday mornings from 9.00am-12.00pm. These casual sessions are suitable for those that may be ‘a little rusty’ or are comfortable in finding their way around a machine.
Our program has a focus on sustainability, upcycling old fashion and reducing fast fashion waste in our landfill in the Douglas Shire.
